Chugging along!

And that's not just a figure of speech. This past saturday Keegan got to spend the evening with Grandma and Grandpa Shary so that mommy and daddy could go out for a date! While we were out to dinner and a movie, Keegan decided he was really hungry. He ate his normal 4 ounces, but was still fussy, so Grandma and Grandpa decided he must still be hungry. And boy was he! He got down another 4 ounces for a total of 8 ounces. I didn't even know his stomach could expand enough for that. He is still typically in the 3-4 range but every once in a while he will eat an extra ounce or 2. We think he's getting ready for a growth spurt. We are also keeping our fingers crossed for that elusive full night's sleep.

Keegan sticking his arms out (You can just see his left hand)

On Sunday, we went for a nature walk with Aunt Krista at the Cincinnati Nature Center. It was the perfect day and I think this weekend was the first time that most everything was green. Keegan got to walk around in his baby carrier with mom while Krista walked Melita and I walked Aurora. Keegan did really well though he wasn't happy until he got his hands up by his face in his little boxer guard position that he fancies. Keegan really slept through just about the whole thing, but wanted to eat before we left so Suzanne and I sat in the parking lot in the shade and fed him while Aurora dozed.

Stopping to smell the... ferns

The meeting of Aurora and Melita went just fine (See pictures) and had we let them loose they might have played. We were a little concerned because they both think Keegan is theirs. I guess they have just smelled each other enough on the rest of us that it just wasn't a big deal.

Back to the wedding pictures site with the rest of the family (Cats not pictured)

Lately Keegan has had a bit of an erratic sleep schedule and we think he may have had a little ear infection, but the last few days have been back to where he was. He'll get a good 3 hours of sleep before wanting to eat again. I keep hoping he is going to sleep through the night, but I'm sure he is going to catch me off guard and do it when I least expect it.

I have been told, that whether or not he sleeps through the night, you sleeping through the night is probably unlikely. These are great pictures. It's great that the kids are here now so we can enjoy the out of doors.
