I missed the bath scene because I was traveling for work last week. It was four days away from the family and it was weird. I am very used to being around him whether it is holding him, feeding him, or even just watching or hearing him. I kind of missed getting him ready in the morning (not the being up early in the morning part, but the being with him part). He can take you from being groggy and grumpy to being smiley. I want him to be happy and in trying to make him happy I become happy. Just look at these faces and you can't help but smile...
We also recently introduced peas into Keegan's diet. He is unsure of them as yet and Suzanne says he makes the same face she does when she eats peas (this from the woman who eats brussels sprouts, blech). He will eat them all, but he makes a face the whole way through. Not sure what that really means, because he will voluntarily grab the spoon and eat them. Maybe he keeps expecting us to give him something he likes? He is still extremely messy (evidence below) but he is trying. He can also hold a big bottle of formula and drink almost all of it. It takes him a little longer to eat it because he ends up playing with it as well, but it is kind of nice. I gave him a bottle while we were at the store and he ate most of it without any help from me.

That's one brave cat. D'jango won't even come in the bathroom during bathtime. Your boy looks all grown up, and I hear you about missing her while you're gone. I've had a few days where I don't see her b/c of work, and it about kills me.
Keegan is 223 days old today! I'm amazed at how darn cute 223 days old really is!
Good job updating the blog. I'm proud of you Orvy!
Kiss my baby boy! I miss that little birdie hair and huge smile! Two weeks is a long time for an adoring auntie!
